What is Amazon Smile?
Amazon Smile is a program run by Amazon that allows customers to shop on the Amazon website and have a portion of their purchase price donated to a charity of their choice. When customers shop on Amazon Smile, they can choose from a list of eligible charities, and Amazon will donate 0.5% of the price of eligible purchases to the selected charity. There is no fee for customers to participate in Amazon Smile. It is a free program that allows customers to support their favorite charities while shopping on Amazon.
How do I shop at Amazon Smile?
To shop at Amazon Smile and select the Spiritist Society of San Diego as your supported charity, follow these steps:
- Visit the Amazon Smile website at https://smile.amazon.com/ch/27-0621963 or click the button below. This will take you directly to the Spiritist Society of San Diego's Amazon Smile page.
- Sign in to your Amazon account. If you do not have an Amazon account, you will need to create one.
- On the Spiritist Society of San Diego's Amazon Smile page, click the "Start Shopping" button to select the Spiritist Society of San Diego as your supported charity.
- Once you have selected the Spiritist Society of San Diego as your supported charity, start shopping on Amazon Smile just as you would on the regular Amazon website.
- When you make a purchase, 0.5% of the price of eligible items will be donated to the Spiritist Society of San Diego.
Note: In order for your purchase to be eligible for the Amazon Smile donation, you must make sure to shop on the Amazon Smile website (https://smile.amazon.com) instead of the regular Amazon website.
