 It is safe to say that many people believe there is something waiting for us after our final moments in the material plane. Still, when asked for more details, their answers vary widely. Some believe we go to heaven or hell; others believe we go back to become part of this One Element some call God.For us Spiritists, the transition is less dramatic. We believe every human being evolves in his or her own way and carries with him or her all the virtues and vices developed in the material plane. We also believe that if you want to know how someone is doing in the spiritual realm, just ask yourself how he or she lived here on Earth. Evolution takes place one step at a time. The good news is “we have a lot of time”. Perhaps the most famous Spiritist report about afterlife is Andre Luiz’s bestseller (through the mediumship of Francisco Xavier) “Nosso Lar“. This book has sold more than two million copies worldwide and has been translated and published in several languages.In this talk we explore Andre’s experiences in a Spiritual Colony called “Nosso Lar” (Portuguese for “Our Home”). We follow his steps from the moment he leaves the corporeal world until he finds balance in the Spiritual realm.
